Now calling the desert Southwest home, both Hunter Ellis and Will Andrew Kimbrough originated out of the foggy hollows of the Ozarks in Southern Missouri's Howell County

They each left their hometown to pursue music, the military, and women, among other things, but found each other once again in Las Vegas in early 2017

The collaborative songwriting process came quickly and naturally from this first meeting and it was evident that the duo needed to shift focus to make a serious go at creating music together.

Javelina Howell's sound is grounded in the roots of its two founding members' Ozarks home, but the group is not afraid of the desert heat, and adds it's own searing sizzle on top.
